I have got so far with this and now I want to return to Yosemite
i have a cloned copy of my hard drive Yosemite
my El Capitan is looping after 2-3 seconds and won't install
i can't boot into my recovery drive it gives me a panic
how do I return to my previous Yosemite installation please...
i am attempting to install el capitan but immediately have hit the buffers
have got this kernel panic
i did a search for this type of panic on here and found this

i am going back to mavericks
can i reinstall over the top of yosemite and is there anything i need to know or do

have installed yosemite all went quite smoothly
used unibeast 5 over the top of mavericks (ethernet worked fine following an upgrade from snow leopard)
i have version 2.0 gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV which means i have ethernet of realtek RTL 8111e
i have tried all 3 drivers on multibeast 7.01 and...
i am now having ethernet problems having gone from 10.6.8 snow leopard to 10.9.4 mavericks
i have at the moment two choices of ethernet but can't seem to get either working
i have onboard LAN realtek rtl8111e (tried lnx2mac driver and mieze's in unibeast 4.0)
my other Lan is a star tech...

Sorry to be a pain I have got as far as the installation screen so a mini success but I have no mouse or keyboard have I missed something in my bios?
Mobo is a gigabyte H61M-S2PV

i am planning an install (snow leopard) this weekend but am not sure if i need the f2 f3 f4 settings how would i identify this?
i have the latest bios update which is version FH
sorry if this seems a dumb question just i cant find it referenced anywhere
