    AARGHHH... inadvertently installed Clover---What should I do?

    I couldn't get a proper boot after deleting the entire contents of the EFI partition. Eventually I used the drive options on a windows 7 install disk to delete the EFI partition completely and I was able to boot.

    The no controls is simply how HDMI audio is handled in OSX - There's no pre-processing, it goes out pure at a specified, inalterable volume to be completely controlled by the device it jacks into. If there is also no sound reaching the HDMI device, that is a separate problem.

    I just watched my system go to sleep, and it's doing this odd thing where it powers down the screen, then wakes it up, exactly four times, then stays asleep. The network plug lights and processor fan keep going until the final, successful monitor power down. Ideas? i3-2105 HD3000 graphics on...
