I don't see an option in my BIOS to actually turn secure boot off. I think that selecting the "other os" option is as close to off as it's going to be. I will try what you said for creating the installer again.

I patched my BIOS and created a USB following the guide, but now when I select the USB as the bootdevice on my PC it goes to a black screen with a flashing curser for about 5 seconds before deciding to just boot into Windows. Why would this happen?
