Ok I finally solved it. Somehow, with the new BIOS (1209), clover 1369 is incompatible. As soon as I revert to 1268 I can boot easilly. Don't know why, but I'll stick with 1268 for now :) thanks for your help though :)

Hi ! Just for your info, since I'm currently researching this for my card, the Maximus IX Hero is supported by the ThunderboleEX 3 card. It is not shown in the card's product specs, but the IX mobo's manual explicitly lists the ThunderboleEX 3 card as the required add-on.
