Don't mean to bump my own thread but I bought an apple USB Ethernet cable (ones for the macbook air) and I'm not getting it to achieve an internet connection over it ... but it will let me interface with the desktop its attached to which is set up to share it's internet ... any help in getting...

Built a Hackintosh with an SR-2 MB and now I am having this issue with the TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 where it shows up as being there, but it sees NO NETWORKS absolutely none... could someone point me to a solution to this? This is under Mavericks Thanks in advance
