Sorry for the delay, So I went into the advanced bios method (F10, A) and disabled WOL. I also removed the wifi card and it is still doing the same thing of coming back on immediately after sleep is selected.
So after updating my dsdt, installing the updated sleep kext, removing the nullcpupowermanagement. I can finally get my dv7 go to sleep for about 4 seconds before booting back on. I removed the internal wifi card as that was causing some issues, and also tried removing my usb wifi to eliminate...

I went into my limited BIOS settings and did not see WOL...Also from the forums Ive read at HP it looks like WOL is not enabled by default for the dv7.
hey all, got EVERYTHING working excellent minus the sleep function. Does anyone have an idea to get sleep working on a laptop for ML? On most of the other forums Ive seen sleep enabler for lion or SL but nothing so far for ML.
