    Yes sir, patched the Kernel indeed...As for the boot loader, I am using the latest Chameleon one.

    It does and i disabled it. Also for giggled I disabled EHCI1 and 2 and it now just stays on with a black screen and wont reboot when I hit the power button or any button.

    Sorry for the delay, So I went into the advanced bios method (F10, A) and disabled WOL. I also removed the wifi card and it is still doing the same thing of coming back on immediately after sleep is selected.

    I just updated my profile and re-read in depth all the rules of the forum Rehabman. I will try and remove the wifi card and try sleep without the usb wifi.

    I went into my limited BIOS settings and did not see WOL...Also from the forums Ive read at HP it looks like WOL is not enabled by default for the dv7.

    hey all, got EVERYTHING working excellent minus the sleep function. Does anyone have an idea to get sleep working on a laptop for ML? On most of the other forums Ive seen sleep enabler for lion or SL but nothing so far for ML.

    So After running multibeast and installing the userdsdt method with my dsdt on the desktop the system runs pretty slow, and if I remove a thumb drive or open a program my system will lock up completely. However if I plug in my thumb drive and boot ML from my usb drive and select the hard drive...
