    [Success] Squirrelzone's Z370-A II - i5 9600k - Radeon 5700 build

Thanks I, did a little digging and to really get the full performance I was looking for, seems to require a flash of the controller's BIOS. I'm probably not going to do that but there are many articles written about titan ridge card flashing and i see some cards being sold as pre-flashed around...

    NativeDisplayBrightness with GUI [fork]

I really love the idea of this little app. Just reporting it partially working for me! Using hackintosh with a Sapphire RX 580 on 10.14.6 Mojave with a Pair of HP Compaq LA2405wg Monitors (1920x1200) Both Connected via DP. It only works on the main monitor even after changing the active window...

Any help with the ThunderboltEX3 card would be appreciated. What did you try and didn't work for you? I've got a great build going based your of this guide with minor hardware differences like a 9700k and a Sapphire Radeon RX580 both running great. For me this is going to be used for Music...

ASUS ThunderboltEX II PCIe Expansion Card - Testing Thread

That's unfortunate. I'm assuming it was a while ago. I have been using since version 6 and admittedly it was clunky. But since 8 it has been very stable and they have added RAID support which I use constantly. I never have any issues anymore. I did at one time have a drive format blank but...

ASUS ThunderboltEX II PCIe Expansion Card - Testing Thread

Yea just plug the display port out of your discreet graphics card into the TB card Port corresponding with your Monitor. This it's the only way to get video to pass through the TB ports (in some cases I suppose you could patch the motherboards discreet graphics through the card but I feel like...

ASUS ThunderboltEX II PCIe Expansion Card - Testing Thread

You have to use MACDRIVE for HFS RAID Support. Mine works 100% with this software. I use Paragon NTFS on the Mac side for proper NTFS Support although it does cause issues from time to time.

ASUS ThunderboltEX II PCIe Expansion Card - Testing Thread

Actually you can just maybe not with Paragon. I use Macdrive and our supports RAID no problem. It want sideways supported but since version 8 it had been avail. I use it with my RAID5 every day between Windows and Mac and it's formatted HFS+

    (NEW) (SUCCESS) Dingleberry's Content Creator Build | GA-X79S-UP5 X79/C606 | i7-3930k | 32gb | GTX67

It has been mentioned in this forum that there is no FIX per say. This is how that Mobo is designer to work. Without a XEON processor there is no way to access those ports. You have the 3930k which is an i7 unlocked version built for raw performance. If you read the manual you'll see the sabre...

Also what version of OSX are you running? I am very happy and stable on 10.8.4. 10.8.5 caused a lot of issues mainly with USB 3.0 but I think ethernet and audio was broken too so I reverted aka stayed a fresh build of 10.8.4.

Hey I did a ton of research on this build before I made it for a friend. In my travels I read about some instability problems with this MOBO and utilizing all 64Gb of RAM. Maybe try pulling the new sticks out and see if anything happens?

Ok your build is 90% the same in not sure what deivers mavericks jas built in but my directions for modifying the installer worked for me to get to the installer for 10.8 then updating to 10.8.4. I couldn't get unibeast and mavericks to work together to make and installer for some reason so I...

Need your full list of hardware for this build and what version of ML installer you used in Unibeast. I had the same problem and it ended up being my graphics card (Nvidia GTX 760). Had to modify the Unibeast installer by deleting the Nvidia Kexts in S/L/E of the flash drive and use "-v -x...
