Nothing. :(
Hmm.
Edit: By the way on Yosemite (when upgraded from working Mavericks) the CPU seems to work 100% correct, it increases and decreases in frequency and my score is similar to that of Mavericks. It doesn't seem to be a CPU issue?
After more testing, it stopped working on a Yosemite install that was upgraded from Mavericks.
However, I found this line, could it be of any importance?
07/07/15 13:38:06,168 PowerChime[309]: objc[309]: Class BUIPowerSource is implemented in both...
Just want to let you know that installing Mavericks (where everything works after running PBI) then upgrading to Yosemite lets me have a 100% working Yosemite, is there anything from it running now that you think may help figure out what the issue is? I'm unable to dump the data right now...
A question though, the fact that I can install Mavericks using the same steps as for Yosemite, with the same files and it is successful and everything including the battery indicator working. Does this mean that it is the Yosemite battery manager that could be the problem?
After all, no fancy...
I updated to F.61 (F.62 is not available for 2170p), I have been in the BIOS several times since and everything looks alright. I have also reinstalled since then.
My latest install was with a config that set the SMBIOS to MacbookAir5,2 for the installation rather than MacbookPro9,2, though it...
Much appreciated, I am attempting a fresh install using Macbook Air 5,2 as the SMBIOS, as opposed to the Macbook Pro 9,2 that is default.
Will report back later.
It's what it's set to automatically in the Clover configurations that is provided in the guide, so you want me to not follow the guide and alter the configurations then? The EFI partition in itself was never even used with anything except from Macbook Air 5,2.
Random as in I did nothing to fix it, but it just started working on the previous install. And I recall an episode on an install before that where it appeared for one boot, and disappearing on the next.
I noticed this line when I try to toggle the battery indicator, does it make any sense to...
With a brand new install from a 100% legitimate Yosemite install made from a real Mac's AppStore on a real Mac, I still get the same issue of battery indicator not appearing. It seems very random.
I had no problems installing Yosemite whatsoever, not a single kernel panic, nor any post-install...
They are the ones in OP, I have since added what you guys have been telling me. The latest install has been going fine when installing, no panics anywhere while installing. The only kernel panics I have encountered since was the initial one when I did not have -xcmp specified and KernelPm false...
1. Yes, I have been making notes of what I have been doing and re-applying all of it. Same results.
2. Tried a second time, no go. I did however notice that the battery indicator was there for a split second when booting too, then disappearing like when trying to toggle it on.
3. Clover...
Cycle count is now 0, sadly it seems to have made no difference.
For the clover part I'll take responsibility, I could have researched that myself, however the ACPI version is a little cryptic and I am probably not the only one making a mistake with that.
