Hi I successfully installed 10.8.5 on my Dell XPS 8500. However i am having sleep and shut down issues. Sleep only works if i log in and press the power button. Using sleep in the apple menu causes it to wake up after a few seconds. When using shut down, it powers back on. Any solutions?

Hiya I have installed OSX 10.8.2 successfully without dsdt on an Acer Altos G3mkII server. Onboard graphics work but are not very good. I have a spare Nvidia 8600 PCI-E card so i tried putting that in. It'll work on the first boot but on subsequent boots OSX freezes just as the GUI loads...

With the DSDT file posted, i am able to get OS X 10.8 to see my sata drives with bios set to RAID mode. Everything in OS X appears to work EXCEPT sleep. Only the display and harddrives go to sleep however the fans still run and the power button light stays illuminated. I have an nVidia 8600GT...
