If you want it to ignore one card in Mac OSX id think you just wouldn't have kext installed for it. Like you stated above "I read somewhere that OSx will simply ignore a 2nd graphics card if there are no drivers for it".
edit: For Windows 7 on the other hand I'm not sure what you would do.
I need any help I can get please. After installing 10.7.2 update I can't boot I get the [ PCI configuration begin ] when I try booting in -v after it gets to that point it just stops and sits there and doesn't continue. Any ideas?
I tried this and same results:/ could it be because I installed a custom AppleHDA.kext and I added something to the DSDT... Here is the other thread i followed http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=29531 and ill post what my output section looks like and what my system report for audio...
Okay so I got my ethernet working with this thread viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3837 so I went to the Mac App Store and tried to download an App and same error>:/

Idk if my ethernet is fully working I can't test it ATM but when I get the chance to which idk when that will be because i'm so far...
Well thanks for the head up, I tried installing it and no luck there:(( well if that is the case I will spend some time getting my ethernet working. If you have any ideas other than that on how to fix that let me know, but thanks for your help anyway.
Hello, so I have my graphics pretty much fully working but I have ran across another problem, dual displays won't work. Here is my situation I have a my main monitor plugged into DVI and i have a second monitor plugged in VGA, the VGA however, doesn't work, it doesn't even pick up the signal...
Hi, I know this post is kinda old but do you know if you have to have ethernet enabled to get the Mac App Store to work? Because the Ethernet just doesn't wanna enable itself no matter what I do and the Mac App Store won't work no matter what I do also.
