Same issue I'm having with not being able to turnoff the onboard bluetooth, tried my working BT dongle from my x58 build and the onboard is the one that gets loaded. Sadly I too have resorted to getting a magic trackpad to avoid having to not use my "basic mouse" but may go down the airport...
