Installation Guide : Intel Haswell NUC Core i5 (D54250WYK)
Hi WonkeyDonkey,
It still sits at the same screen indefinitely even with the value set to 0 (Zero). I still need to press enter.
I've noticed that as soon as I press enter the following pops up on the screen quickly before...
Installation Guide : Intel Haswell NUC Core i5 (D54250WYK)
First of all a massive thanks to WonkeyDonkey for the comprehensive guide.
I followed your guide and now have a working NUC with OSX for my HTPC.
Any idea on how at the Chameleon Boot screen I can have the NUC automatically boot into...
Great build.
Have you had any issues with the 660 Ti and the Dell U2713HM?
Also do you know if the 660 Ti works with 3 or 4 monitors?
I'm trying to find a GPU that will drive 2x U2713HM and hopefully 2x U2312HM. Hoping to get all 4 working but would be happy with the 2x 27 inch monitors.
Today I purchased 2x Dell U2713HM (2560x1440 with Dual link DVI) to go with my current 2x U2312HM (1920x1080).
I have been using the 2x 1920x1080 monitors with no issues with the following build;
i5 3570K
8GB DDR3 1600
Z77N WiFi
450w SFX PSU
Silverstone FT03 Mini
OSX 10.8.2
I would like to...

I'm hoping to use the Noctua heatsink as passive cooled and use the 2x Noctua fans as case fans. Once I added the price of the Noctua fans it really isn't that much more money to get...
Thanks for the reply.
I already have the SSD, PSU and case sitting here brand new. I purchased them for a HTPC I was going to build but bought an Apple TV instead.
Will stretch the budget to get the i5 as I hope to keep this build for a few years.
First of all thanks for the fast reply. Big :) for you
Looks like I will have to go with the i3-3225 to stay within budget.
Would I notice any difference between the i3-3225 and the i5-3570k coming from using a Core2Duo? Just trying to see if it's worth the extra $$$ and downgrading other parts...
Greeting everybody,
After many years building PC's and using a Mac I've decided to give my building my own Hackintosh a go as my iMac is getting a little slow.
I'm looking to upgrade from a Early 2009 20" iMac with a 2.66 Core2Duo.
After consulting the CustoMac Guide I plan on doing the...
