Anyone experience with Gigabyte Z370N WIFI

My friend put in a real Apple airport card with an m.2 adapter. It works, but he had to remove the inner casing. This sentence is baffling: "could not throw off a list of cakes that came in handy?"

bcm94352z slow connection to external devices

I have the same card. I was able to use Bluetooth in 10.13.4 (SMBIOS iMac 17.1), albeit with a terrible signal. Now that I have upgraded to 10.13.5, my Bluetooth device does not get recognized. I have under EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other BrcmFirmwareData.kext BrcmNonPatchRAM2.kext BrcmPatchRAM2.kext...

[solved] Trouble Creating USB SSDT from RehabMan's Procedure

Great! You have some interesting stuff going on with your audio device. Mine works, but all I did was inject 11 under Devices/Audio. I am also surprised that you do not have Devices/USB/FixOwnership enabled. I seem to need that, but I don't need any inject options enabled in Clover for USB...

[solved] Trouble Creating USB SSDT from RehabMan's Procedure

Thanks for pointing out my errors. I changed my "port count" to 25 (after fixing my SSDT, I noticed that USB-C probably needs both SS and HS components of USB, and SS09 has port count 25). A new version has been uploaded with the suffixed "_fixed.dsl". For some reason I still cannot get things...

[solved] Trouble Creating USB SSDT from RehabMan's Procedure

Thank you for confirming that! I thought so. I used to have an internal DVD drive connected to one of the internal USB 2.0s. Now I have an SDCard reader (It shows up as "Generic")

[solved] Trouble Creating USB SSDT from RehabMan's Procedure

Could you please provide your original SSDT.dsl before compilation into aml? You only provided the decompiled version, but I'd like to compare SSDT-UIAC-ALL.dsl with your reduced version, and with mine. I attached my dsl SSDT-UIAC with commented ports for posterity. My hotplug USB-C (Port HS09)...

[solved] Trouble Creating USB SSDT from RehabMan's Procedure

I have the same board. When I did my USB checks, HS12 seemed to be active. You do not have this in your dsl. I am not sure what it is (probably internal front panel USB2.0). From my tests: HS01 : Internal USB 3 HS02 : Internal USB 3 HS03 : Right port (2) HS04 : Right port (1): indexed...

    [SUCCESS] GA-Z370N-WIFI + i7 8700K + Vega 64

The uia_exclude boot options seems to be in error. The HS09 is important for USB-C. : In Clover Configurator Boot Tab, enter in Custom Flags: uia_exclude=HS03;HS04;HS09;HS07; I tested all usb ports using IORegistryExplorer. Did I miss something?

    Success: Coffee Lake i7-8700K - GA-Z370N-WIFI

I got iMessage working by following this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/an-idiots-guide-to-imessage.196827/ I think an easy thing to miss is having a working NVRAM (persistent RAM after power offs). I could not get native NVRAM working, so I just use the fake NVRAM plist that gets...

    [SUCCESS] GA-Z370N-WIFI + i7 8700K + Vega 64

I am still looking for a solution to this issue. I was able to get iMessage working and iCloud. I also replaced my Wifi / Bluetooth board with a BCM94352Z module. I cannot get the bluetooth working. It shows up (I can enable/disable it), but the connections are flaky at best. (If I put a...

    PCIe lanes on a Gigabyte Z370N (with 2xM.2 SSD & M.2 WiFi)?

I alright bought it. It is a BCM9435SZ. It works except for bluetooth. The bluetooth appears to be active in the operating system, but the range is absolutely terrible. It only recognizes devices when they are immediately next to the machine, and even then the signal is messed up.

    [Solved] GA Z370N-WIFI Bluetooth malfunction

I am working on it. I have almost the same build except with an Intell 8100.

New Gigabyte Z370N - no more WiFi support?

I have the z370n wifi. The wireless card is a module. I swapped mine out for a broadcom chip (BCM94352Z) and it is working. Bluetooth had hiccups but I think it is ok now (a matter of finding the right kernel extensions). I went for an Intel i3-8100 CPU. Video acceleration is working. Overall...

    Success: Coffee Lake i7-8700K - GA-Z370N-WIFI

Switching to iMac 17,1 using Clover did the trick. I no longer have graphics problems with Safari. Not yet working: USB-C Bluetooth on my Broadcom BCM94352Z (WIFI is working) Did you need to do anything special for your dvd drive (optical drive)? Mine is recognized in About This Mac but not...

Intel UHD 630 Graphics (0x3e918086 i3-8100) Native support with GfxId Injection

I also have an i3 8100 and got sleep and video acceleration working. See my original post Success- Coffee Lake i8700k GA-Z370N-wifi: I had to set the machine to iMac 17.1, otherwise I had some occasional video errors (I had to reboot due to a shaky screen/flickering using Safari and Calendar...

My entire EFI as per request (although you could probably just get the Clover version I have and have the same thing...) As I said before, the config.plist is pretty much the one that came with Clover plus the aforementioned graphics-related things. Oh wait... it seems I cannot upload tar.gz or...

Anyone experience with Gigabyte Z370N WIFI

Installation of macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 worked flawlessly. iMessage only works with a proper wireless/bluetooth module, so those questions cancel each other out. I used the Coffee Lake i3 8100 CPU. The only issue I have is the onboard graphics acceleration. As soon as I get that working, I...
