You do realise , I am sure that the BCM94322HM8L is a wireless card and not an SSD?
Also, if you look at the Component List in the first post you will see that he already owned that particular card anyway, and it was what he used for the guide!
You have taken the time to read through the...
Sorry for another component question, but the mSATA module listed (SSD 128Gb mSATA 520/320Mb/sec SATA3 (Ramus) is obviously an older model, which 'woodoodm', the OP, already owned, and which is not currently available.
Would something like a Kingston 120GB mSATA Solid State Drive (Model...
If you look back in this thread a bit to the previous page you will see that there has already been some discussion about these two boards.
I am in the UK, and the R2.0 doesn't seem to be available here either, so I have also gone with a straight Asus H81T, which I am sure will be fine!
Thanks Neil... I had a feeling that there must be a table like that hiding somewhere or another!
For those who are considering going down the route described in this thread... and who don't want the trouble of going through the table, it would appear that the Intel® Core™ i3-4340 (as used) has...
Thank you... although I have to say that I had not realised there was even a 'refreshed' version of the Haswell CPU's available!
My question now is of course, as I am about to order a new Intel® Core™ i3-4370 CPU, how will I know if it a "Haswell Refresh" or not... or are they all like that...
As you know I am very impressed with your case, and am currently getting together the required components, but am currently a bit confused about the motherboard!
In you first post you recommended a Asus H81T R2 Motherboard which, for some unknown reason does not appear to be available here in...
Hi woodoodm,
My case arrived this morning, and I was please to find it was in a 'factory sealed' box, although there was no printed information inside. Neither was there any soft foam around the CPU cooler as shown in your picture... just bubble wrap...and no resistor lead either! :thumbdown...
Assuming you are talking about the Asus H81T R2 Motherboard, this particular model is readily available in the UK from such outlets as Amazon and Ebuyer, to name but two, and many others also.
I assume you have tried 'Googling' it?
Hi ypz801,
Assuming you live in the UK, can I ask if you were charged any tax (V.A.T.) or import duty on your order from the Luna Design website?
Thanks! :)
Thank you for your reply.
Is there any way I can tell, either by examination, or possibly by the serial number, if the case I receive already has the resistor added, as I would like to be able to follow you guide to turn it into a MAC!
I would also be interested to hear your comments on...
Hi,
This does indeed look like a very attractive build.
I have actually just ordered a DNK-H | Thin Mini-ITX PC C from a seller on eBay, but having read your last message I wondered if the resistor you mention has been added recently, or is this something which would have to be done by the end...
I am slightly surprised not to find any replies to this question, as I would also like to know if the Asus H81-PLUS motherboard would be a suitable candidate for hackintoshing?
If so I will start a separate thread with the rest of my spec.
Thanks :)
