What did you need to do to get the bluetooth dongle to work in Monterey. I have the same BT400 dongle and it is not recognized natively. I hoped I would not have to add Brcmpatch etc.
Does the Bluetooth dongle work natively in 12.1? I have the same chipset but different board, and in OC 7.7 Bluetooth toggles on in menu bar but the dongle is not discoverable.
I am trying to update my OC and I have run into a problem that I can't figure out. I can not get my system to boot from USB. The system posts but then goes to a black screen. This is even if I make a drive formatted UEFI/ Mac OS Journaled/ GUID partitioned and drop my current working EFI on...
So where do we make this switch? Is it "CPU Vcore Loadline Calibration" that needs to be changed? There is no toggle option for me in the BIOS. Do you have to type in "Standard"?
I use an Altec Lansing setup that has a sub woofer amp that plugs in through the analog on the rear audio port. I unplugged the connection to the rear port, plugged my headphones into the front port and, for whatever reason, immediately they showed up under the sound output as an additional...
Is there a way to get the front audio jacks working with this board? Sound shows as USB 2.0, and I know there is the USB jack that can be used. But why does the front panel header not work?
Installer was the problem, so that I was able to fix. But now my Ethernet goes in and out, and, when it is out, rebooting does not bring it back. I need to shutdown for a couple of hours, even clearing NVRAM doesn't allow reboot to restore Ethernet. I saw the post above on fixing your...
I am trying to install Big Sur on a new build using this board. However, I get stuck during install where it eventually goes to the ban sign and support.apple.com/mac/setup. I see no option on the boot picker to disable CFG lock and I was wondering if that is the problem. How do I know if it...
I have upgraded to 10.14.4, but, now after sleep, I lose audio. I tried reinstalling the AppleALC with MultiBeast, but no change after sleep. Anyone else have this problem?
I was finally able to upgrade to Mojave. Everything seems fine, computer does wake from sleep, but slowly, and I have to click both my mouse and hit a key on my keyboard to get the computer and monitor to wake. If I use one or the other, the hard drives come on but my display stays in sleep...
What is the reason for boot0: error if not using a large drive? I have tried two different 16GB USB drives, one Corsair and one Kingston. Both created from Unibeast 9.1 and neither will work.
Hoping someone might be able to help me figure out how I messed up my rig. I started to do a clean install of Mojave on a new Samsung 970 NVMe using a Corsair 16 Gb flash drive, but for some reason after updating the BIOS to the latest version, the flash drive would not be recognized in any USB...
I wondered about this also. I have always bought smaller SSD or NVME drives and set up symlinks to keep my data on spinning disk. That way I could always change items and clean install on the system drive without having to move or clone all my data.
Now I am lost, because previously I just added the 4K patch to the start of the OS specific version plist from patch-nvme, generated HackrNVMeFamily with spoof, moved it into place, and was up and running. Could you please tell me, or link me to what type of patch I need for KextsToPatch. Is...
I am trying to generate the 12_5.kext with the extra patch for Plextor NVMe. The check sum does not match and the kext is not generated. What commands should I use to generate the new kext with the extra patch? It gives an error "sums do not match", no override specified.
