Did you ever get any further with this? I have the Dell 3593 with the 1035G1 also and I'm wondering if any progress has been made.

MultiBeast 4.2.1 worked for me just like everyone is saying. I was making the mistake of not choosing ALC8xxxHDA and ALSO AppleHDA Rollback along with the Non-DSDT HDAEnabler ALC889. I had to choose all three and then it worked.

Just want to say thanks!!!! Works great on my OLD GA-P31-ES3G using my DSDT file and this AppleHDA.kext. I only used the plain old output for computer speakers so I didn't test digital but this was nice and easy to get 10.7.1 working right.
