My system is fairly old these days but here it is:
High Sierra 10.13.6 (Only way I could get CUDA to work for 3D/Blender)
Core i7 3770k
MSI GTX 680
ASUS P8Z77-V Pro Motherboard
Samsung 1TB 840...

I can't enable Find My Mac, it says a recovery partition is required, I've looked around and all the posts I've found are using Mountain Lion or previous where as I am on Mavericks.
Just wondered what the best way to fix this is, I would like Find My Mac to work just incase anything happens...
I believe i've found a fix:
The OSX 10.8.4 Update made it so it loses connection when connecting to a secure network.
Someone on the Apple forums suggested disabling security and rejoining the network and it is working great so far! I recommend disabling SSID Broadcasting as you won't want...
Today I installed a front panel usb 3 that connects to a usb 3 header on my motherboard (Asus p8z77-v pro), problem is when I plug my usb 3 hard drive into it my whole system freezes.
Someone on chat suggested I install the ASMedia USB 3 Package, which I did, this fixed the front panel usb but...
I've had my hackintosh set up for a while now but only realised some of the usb 3 ports are working on the motherboard, what would be the easiest way to enable the use of these?

I'm new here and wanted to meet some of the community, so thought i'd start this thread, I myself am currently studying graphic design and illustration so having hackintosh helps with wacom drivers and design software a lot.
