In previous OS X builds in order to have graphics card function properly after boot up my computer needed to be put to sleep and then woke up.
This is no longer the case in my situation. Graphics are working with out putting the computer to sleep!!
I have successfully installed Mavericks on a separate SSD in my PC.

I have been able to successfully install SL on my Samsung SSD by using GraphicsEnabler=No with the Asus Radeon HD 7970. I used iBoot Legacy.
However when I attempt to reboot into Snow Leopard the fan on the graphics spins extremely fast and the display is black.
