Even though I'm about to boot. I notice that the resolution has increased, but I still have some flickering when using Safari as well as in the Finder. I'm going to do some additional digging around to see if I can resolve this issue.
I tried that system definition and that didn't help either. I was doing a search on Google and found this
Boot your mac drive using this flags " -V -S " and you go to single mode
fsck -fy
mount -uw /
mkdir /backup
cd /System/Library/Extensions
mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AMDRadeon*...
I was finally able to get it too boot. After I did a fresh install. I set the system definition to Mac Pro 5.1 and bam I was in. I'm going to be doing some testing to make sure everything works.

I did a fresh install of Maverick again, and tried all of those flags and still nothing. I just don't understand what could be causing this not too boot. In ML 10.8.2 all I had to do was add the GraphicsEnabler=Yes flag.
I'm going to go back to ML which I know works without any issues. I'm going to save the Kexts and apply them in Maverick and see if that resolves my issue.
I really do appreciate all the help :D
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried setting it too 1 and zero and I'm still getting the same message. I wonder would copying the kexts from ML fix this.
I've search high and low trying to find an resolution to my problem. Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.
I was able to get Maverick install with no problems. However I can only boot into the system using safe mode. When i use the boot flag of -v. This is what I get...
I was able to get Maverick installed, however I can only boot up in safe mode. When I use the boot flag of -v I see the infamous **** [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport. I know it has something to do with the GPU but I...
I'm currently using an ASROCK Extreme 4 Z77 board. After the initial install, and reboot with the apple logo screen with the circle would just go on and on. So I used the boot flags of GraphicsEnabler=No and safe mode, and was able to complete the install. Hope this helps. I'm an an AMD 5450...
I decided to make a step by step on using this motherboard. Enjoy
