So I attempted to boot in Verbose mode and succeeded in completing the installation and go through MultiBeast.
Now if I attemt to boot with more than one USB-device plugged in to my MoBo I get the prohibited sign.
Whenever I attempt to boot with only one USB-device plugged in I am able to...
Hi there,
After having run on ML and Chimera without any big issues I am currently trying to install Sierra on a new SSD.
After having created my USB-Stick with Unibeast I've completed the first part of the installation.
After rebooting with the USB-stick plugged in I get to a black...
I also changed the boot disk priorities in BIOS, but have no idea what caused the prohibited sign to come up everytime I try to boot now. Does anyone have suggestions?
Thank you. So after playing around with some settings in Multibeast I got the prohibited sign whenever I tried to boot Sierra. Even after I deleted the partition and did fresh install I got that sign. What have I possibly messed up here? :|
Hi there,
so I reinstalled OSX on the GUID-formatted partition. Also I installed the NVIDIA web drivers, mounted the disk and changed the config.plst (<key>NvidiaWeb</key><true/>)according to the tonymacx86 tutorial. However I still don't get the GTX560Ti to work. If I manually select the NVIDIA...
Hi there,
I am currently doing a fresh install of Sierra. As my GTX560TI is giving me a hard time to make it work I have just downloaded NVIDIAs WebDrivers and attempted to install them. Following tonymacx86s guide I was going to mount my EFI partition to edit it as described.
However my EFI...
Hi there,
I'm (still) running on 10.8.5 and currently attempting to do a fresh Sierra install. I made a bootable USB device using Unibeast and when chosing it at the Boot Screen I get the "Can't find mach_kernel".
Does anyone have a fix for that?
Thanks for the quick reply, I actually just read that in another post and was gonna delete my message. However, in Mountain Lion MultiBeast it goes only up to 14,2. Do you think that will work?
Hi Adrian,
It's been a while, but here I am trying to download Sierra in the App Store. Unfortunately I get the message that "this version of OSX can't be installed on this device", even though I'm running on 10.8.5.
Can anybody tell me how I can fix that?
Thanks so much in advance
Hello all,
I'm running a GA-Z77-UD5H with an i3770k and a GTX560ti. As you may be able to tell it is not the newest machine and also I have not updated since 10.8.5., as I had a pretty difficult path to make the machine work and didn't want to ruin anything.
However I thought it might be the...
Hello,
I'm running 10.8.5 on my main SSD and just bought another SSD in order to install Win 7 on it.
Now all the guides required Win-DVDs but I just got an ISO and an empty USB-Stick. My question: How can I create a bootable USB-Stick without Bootcamp-Assistant? Because Bootcamp-Assistant isn't...
@toleda: I'm afraid I don't fully understand.
Some months ago I was able to edit the file and add my deviceId, which solved my problems. This time, however, I open the file and I don't even find the "IOPCI Primary Martch" key where I added the ID last time.
Hello everyone,
after a not 100% satisfying 10.8.5 reinstall I wanted to change the DeviceID of my Grapihics Card in NVDAGF100Hal.kext. I understand that helped a lot of people to get their machines working properly and also helped me one time
However I'm not able to find my corresponding key...
