Hi cutzzz14, I have a similar build with yours, I'm using: i3 3220 3,3GHz 8GB RAM HD 250GB Nvidia GT640 2GB I've been using this build with Mountain Lion for almost 2 years and no problem at all, at the moment I accomplished upgrading to El Capitan, but occasionally I'm experiencing boot loop...
