I have patched the latest BIOS for Asus P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt (1908) and it booted up just fine so I assume that means that it is working just fine?
The reason I ask is because my CPU package keeps fluctuating while I'm in the internet. Is this normal? I'm hoping I just never realized this...
What bootloader are you using? I never got it to work with chimera 1.11.1. I did get it to work with clover, then I used chameleon alone, but now I use chimera 2.0.1. In your boot.plist add graphics mode="insert your resolution". Mine was 1920x1200x32. An easy way to do it is install 1080p via...
Trim is working after the chameleon ssd optimizer. ALC 892 audio with DSDT is not working even after reinstalling.
Does anyone know why my VRAM changed from 512MB to 768MB after the update? I'm not saying its a bad thing, I'm just curious. I utilize HD4000 as my only graphics source from my...
I updated and everything is working now except for my audio. I tried reinstalling but still no go. Had issues with trim, but used Chameleon SSD Optimizer and that fixed that.
Also, this isn't a complaint but I'm curious about something. I have an i5 3570K cpu and utilize my HD4000 graphics as...
If this is the wrong thread to post this in, please direct me to the correct one.
I keep getting a HDCP error when trying to play a digital copy downloaded from iTunes. I know my monitor and cable are HDCP compliant. My monitor is an Asus PA248Q. I utilize HD4000 graphics on my i5 3570K...
I've been running my fusion drive setup now for a couple months and have no problems. I have it set up with a 128 GB Samsung 830 Series SSD and a 1 TB Western Digital Black drive. I love my set up!
I've heard some bad things about the Western Digital green drives on this forum. Not sure if it...
Thanks for your suggestions. Neither of them worked but it was worth a shot. Sleep/wake isn't a huge issue for me, but it's the only thing separating me from a fully functional machine.
Is it possible that HDMI audio will be supported without DSDT in th future?
Toleda I don't know if this is in your realm of expertise, but I'm looking for some help or guidance to the right direction.
Sleep/Wake works fine on my computer when I don't have a patched DSDT for HDMI audio; however, when I use the patched DSDT Sleep/Wake only sort of works... the computer...
I have my screen fixed for good, with help from MiniITX. I doubt you are still having problems by this point, but if you are I would be glad to hear the problem and see if I can help.
I've tried that numerous times. If I change it to my display's resolution, which is 1920x1200x32, it won't even boot up.
i ended up using a different bootloader even though I didn't want to, which fixed it.
Here is my DSDT. I was going to try and copy the HDEF part from the one you edited for me and paste in a new I was going to create but it never would compile. Kept saying something didn't exist. Figured it was better in your hands anyway.
If you got my PM then you know I got the scrambled screen fixed. Also USB3 seem to be working OOB as you can see per screenshot! I even tested the speeds. I don't know how but I'm not asking any questions about it! Also sleep/wake is working. All I need now is working HDMI audio. If I extract a...
Actually, it is no longer fixed. When I thought it was fixed I installed audio with DSDT to get HDMI audio and somehow that scrambled it again. Very frustrating. I'm still troubleshooting. I'm following this guide 10.8 / How to enable HD4000
Intel DH77EB DSDT
I know this has been blowing you up and I'm sorry about that! I have another issue. The string fixed my scrambled screen. Fixing that was my number 1 priority so I hadn't installed the DSDT you edited for me until I injected the string. So I went in and deleted hdaenabler...
