I went to update Clover to 5100 ...I get a message like .. not compatible with OS, proceed anyway? Should I proceed? I tried updating to 10.15.2 but it won't take. from reading the forums, clover needs to be updated first
Ok bare with me....I am a basic hack user lol My clover program is saying there is an update .... do I want to and how to I get my boot updated? Would this help my issue of my 10.15.1 not reflecting the update to 10.15.2?
I did make sure it selected the boot drive on the restart ... I saw the other post :>
It does not seem that my system is restarting twice or taking 20 min to update. I tried the direct update and the download link from here
UPDATE: I pulled the video card....hooked up to the onboard hdmi ...booted up to clover. I figured it would fail once loading the OS . I took the opportunity to reset bios ... put the card back in. no boot,vga red light. Waiting for a new card.

Before I installed the update....Multi-beast .....set the definitions to IMAC 14.2 . After I installed, system still say EI CAPTAIN. Does not seem be updated. What am I missing?
Thanks....... it did the trick. now any ideas what would cause a popping noise when a program starts?? Must be the driver kicking in but not sure how to fix
I did a fresh install, I used Multi-beast afterward. After I shutdown, the system restarts.
I have never used Clover and I am not a programmer. My 1st build was with Maverick .....I followed everything from this site.

I did a fresh install of Captain......ran multi-beast. Usually I get sound but nada.......plus I go to shutdown, it restarts. I have never used Clover ...... is there anywhere that gives step by step instructions
