I managed to get it to work by using tonymacx86's guide on installing with clover. I noticed that it seemed to be a purely graphical error, because I could see the loading bar continue and then the install os x screen (through stripes) so something must have loaded and caused the problem but not...
After trying to upgrade to Yosemite with a boot usb it goes to the gray apple screen with a loading bar, but when it gets to about a quarter the screen goes turns to this.
SLI is not supported on mac, just get a 770 or something. Otherwise it looks fine (I like your cooling by the way).

Hi guys, so I was trying to install OS X Mavericks on my computer (parts in signature) but when I get past the white apple screen, I just get a white screen (with my mouse working). I tried safe mode too, but it has no affect.
I have removed the gpu already, I found that the data cables were broken, but I can't boot into my mountain lion install without safe mode. I was thinking maybe I could wipe my drives and start fresh with a mavericks install. Would a boot and nuke cd work? (like dban)
