Hello everyone, I'm facing a really weird but I guess common issue and I can't find my workaround on it.
I've been running 10.14.6 and since we're all in contamination where I live, I decided to install Windows 10 for some gaming on a separate Inner HDD. And so I did, successfully.
I am...
Alright so I've managed to somehow get audio by changing my system definition to iMac 14,2 , however now I don't have audio after 2nd-time-sleep.
That means that once I set my machine to sleep for the first time, sound works fine. After I set it to sleep for the 2nd time, audio comes back for...
Hello everyone, so I've been using happily my hackintosh for the last 1 year and a half, until it hit me. I wanted to try and install Catalina on my machine, so I had to mess around with a bunch of stuff, but in the end I just gave up.
Currently, I'm running on 10.14.6 with the following specs...
As I recall, I've installed Lilu & W/E Green through Multibeast about 2 weeks ago in order for me to use the Spacebar/Preview feature, so yea, I already had those.
I just changed my config.plist and totally removed the "InjectNVidia" thingie and my HDMI works just fine, at least when it comes...
Ahhhhhh can't believe it, I SOLVED IT!
cmn699, it seems that the new Clover folder you created for me didn't make much of a difference so I tried going back to the old one I was using!
And what I did was run Clover on a desperate attempt, unclick/unselect the InjectNVIDIA option in the...
Tried booting with nv_disable=1 bootflag and it seems the system boots normally, but without any graphics, the resolution is horrible.
I did that while my new monitor is connected via HDMI straight to the HDMI port of the GPU.
Hope that helps.
Thank you! Got a question though
Under what circumstances should I apply this?
- What should my BIOS settings be? (currently:
BIOS -> Peripherals -> Initial Display: PCIE Slot 1
Internal Graphics: Disabled)
- How should I connect my new monitor using the HDMI slot? Plug it into the graphics...
Haha just let me know what you need, I've got another monitor plugged in through VGA which works fine and I can access my system!
Thank you for spending your time on this!
No luck. After the White Apple Logo bar fully loaded, the monitor goes to sleep again.
Here are the changes I made:
BIOS -> Peripherals -> Initial Display: PCIE Slot 1
Internal Graphics: Disabled
Didn't work.
I'll try that right now. However I had my internet graphics enabled for the Preview (spacebar) feature on OS X which I use a lot. I couldn't use it before enabling Internal Graphics.
Hello there fellow hackintoshers!
So today I've decided to purchase a new monitor, a 25" Dell 2k, seems amazing!
However once I've tried connecting it into my GPU, nothing happens. The Monitor won't be recognised.
Currently running on another monitor connected to my card through VGA and it...
Also, I've come across this thread:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/gt640-good-for-mojave-metal.268076/
It seems that Adrian B has been using GT640 successfully but not quite sure how.
Alright so, I did uninstall the drivers but had no luck, the screen would go into "sleep" mode after booting.
Additionally, I Enabled onboard Graphics & connected my monitor to my motherboard D-sub port, and still no luck.
What confuses me is where do I need to plug-in my D-sub cable? On my...
Alright so basically the installation completed successfully, however, I've got not Graphics and I can't boot unless I use nv_disable=1. I'm also getting a message notification regarding my nVidia Graphics, which says that Mojave doesn't support the drivers installed.
Graphics Card: MSI GeForce...
