Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

I do not use FAKESMC, I did not select that option. That may be the problem. As I understand it, FakeSMC is automatically installed when you run multibeast without selecting it.

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

I have run Multibeast 5.1.3 at least 8-9 times on this build so far. The only thing that appears we have done differently is I updated to 10.8.2 after the install. That would be the only thing I could suggest. This is my first hackintosh, so I am just learning. Someone else may have better insight.

    Customac 2012 Build Issue

Reinstalled yet again and just ran Multibeast one time. Everything seems to be working. Lnx2drivers are messed up in 5.1.3 so I used Realtek. I selected the Realtek drivers, 1080p, 892 audio with the DST, and the Dst/DST free option. The only oddity is that I have to unplug my monitor and plug...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

I am having the same problem madman. However using the Realtek drivers for 10.7 in the Multibeast 5.1.3 build is working for now. As a side note, I am now 100% fully functional. I rebuilt my machine again using Vault's steps above. I made the following changes: Added 1080p to the selection...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

I reimaged several times with these steps but could not seem to get it to boot. When I left off the Linx2mac drivers and used the Realtek gigabit 10.7 drivers everything was happy. I still cannot get audio or Bluetooth to work though. Does audio/Bluetooth work for you?

    Customac 2012 Build Issue

Ok. I am 90% working...Just can't get Audio or Bluetooth working. No boot errors, they just do not work. Any ideas there? Here is what I did with the exact Customac 2012 Budget Build Parts to get to this point. Optimized defaults for Bios settings, then followed the Gigabyte 7 Series Bios...

    Problem on H77N-WIFI with i3 3225 - so close

I have the H77N-WIFI and i3 3225 as well. I have been having issues getting everything working following the Customac 2012 build thread also. I have made a little progress this morning that fixed my 1080p and Ethernet, but I am still having issues with audio using the DST fix. Use the Realtek...

    Customac 2012 Build Issue

I let it sit overnight and it got to the bluetooth error on the last line. I rebuilt it again. I can get it to boot all day long until I run Multibeast with the settings in the Customac 2012 post. Then I can no longer boot. If I only check the DST/no-DST option, and 1080p I can boot, but the...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

I started a thread, but I think I should probably post my question in this one instead. This seems to be the best place for questions regarding the 2012 CustoMac. So I apologize in advance for the double post. This is my first hackintosh. I have tried to read everything I possibly can before...

    Customac 2012 Build Issue

This is my first hackintosh. I have tried to read everything I possibly can before posting. I built the exact system from the Customac 2012 "budget" build list. I got ML on the USB drive using Unibeast just fine. I installed the OS just fine. I can boot the machine and restart with no issue...

    Mountian Lion Server??

Do you happen to access it remotely, or use it to stream to any DLNA devices? Is it your centralized backup server for your house if you have one? If so, how well does it perform each of these functions?

    Mountian Lion Server??

Sundaze, this is the exact scenario I am in at the moment, with the exception that I am already running WHS 2011. My house has been slowly shifting toward Mac for the last 12 months, and will probably be completely Mac in the next 6-12 months. At that point a WHS won't make much sense. Did you...

    Switching Over

My household has been primarily a PC household for a long time. I run a Windows Home Server at home, with a few Windows 7 clients that back up to it. I stream from the WHS to my PS3, and I use it to access my files from work. The built-in Dynamic DNS is nice for the remote access piece. Over...
