No need to be sorry, I have not noticed it too when I was looking into the kext with hex editor by myself... I have already used my config.plist with corrected kext name and it is OK :)
And yeah, the highlighted resolution is the one used by "Best for display", max res.
I will definitely post...
Hello again, I have found the difference, the problem was in the name of the kext,in the post #126 is "AppleIntelBDWFramebuffer.kext" but the config you have sent have "AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer.kext" .. anyways it kinda works now. Sometimes screen goes black for a sec, especially after...
OMG it works! and IOReg is showing right port id... but HOW? :banghead:... I was comparing the plists in Beyond Compare and found few differences like HaltEnabler or disabled AsusAICPUPM and KernelPm... but the Intel framebufer patch seems the same
Here is plist I was using, can you please look...
so, I have tried lot of stuff, made the OS boot looping etc... finally I have maybe noticed something, after I apply the patch, I can still see in IOReg that port 0x5 has connector type of <00 04 00 00>...instead of <00 08 00 00>... or this is not changed after patch does its job during boot...
Thx for reply. Well I am not sure if I understand correctly... you are saying that I need to use your SSDT-1.aml or toleda's git repo ssdt-hdmi-hd6200.zip... but I am using toledo's ssdt and I don't have any frame buffer patches.... only audio and fix for garble boot logo...
:( unfortunately nothing changed .... I have looked here http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8723-enabling-dvidphdmi-with-intel-hd4200440046005000-and-iris-51005200-gpu/ and perhaps understood what the patch did... but then I noticed that it was DP2HDMI( I thought that the idea is to...
Thx again, USB problem was in deed in BIOS  . I am giving up on startup slowdowns, but now I have connected new QHD monitor to HDMI and I cannot get resolution higher than 1080p... MB spec declares that HDMI out is capable of QHD on HDMI 1.4a standard which my monitor supports.
Any hack...

@wildwillow: I am using HDMI port, currently 1080p, next week I am planing to with to QHD... I have removed Kext patches as soon as I replaced SSDT-1.aml(port layout updated) to the you have started with.. Also I am getting screen junk...

You are right, my bad I have not noticed that the results were for i7...I have also typed wrong results of cinebench :D here is my result + smbios
Anyways, I thought that the cinebench crashing was caused by your patched(port layouts?) SSDT, but as I was trying to get...
In the meantime I have shifted a bit.. so I found web https://www.firewolf.science/2015/04/framebuffer-data-extracted-from-appleintelbdwgraphicsframebuffer-binary/ so I have played with ids...
