    Network Quitting after awhile...

My solution sadly was to buy a mac mini. I wrote an applescript to ping google and if it doesn't get a response, it shuts down my vpn and if that still doesn't work, it reboots the hack. mine runs headless and I haven't had time or patience to try and figure out the cause, but it seemed there...

Official CustoMac Mini 2012 Guide and Notes (in progress)

Wow, this is amazingly unstable. Not a day goes by without it crashing. I guess it would be ok for watching a few movies, but anything over a network is almost bound to fail. :banghead: If anyone can suggest how I might debug it, would be much appreciated. Think it might be time to buy a mac...

I had the same problem and haven't found a solution. Resorted to reformatting and reinstalling OS X. It worked fine when setup without DSDT. Worked ok after running multibeast again with the HDMI DSDT setting. HDMI audio worked. But, if I run Multibeast again, I get to the same place yours does...

    BitterMelon's "Chip" build: GA-Z77N-WIFI - i5-3570K - HD 6870

sLcMac, I had a similar problem. When I first setup the box, I used Multibeast 5.0.2 and deleted the OemSMBIOS.kext plugin before rebooting as per BitterMelon's instruction. It was working fine then. A couple of days later, I saw a newer version 5.1.2 of Multibeast had been released, which I...

    BitterMelon's "Chip" build: GA-Z77N-WIFI - i5-3570K - HD 6870

BitterMelon, thanks for the write-up! Was very helpful :headbang:. I've was waiting for Apple to release a new Mac mini, but no joy, so figured I'd give this a shot. Assembled a Z77N-WIFI with i7 3770K, 2 x 8gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz DDR3 and a Plextor M5 pro 128gb SSD. The purpose for...
