Removing google chrome from my hackintosh apparently really solved this issue. I'm wondering: Is this a hackintosh specific problem? And if it is, can anybody explain the relation between google chrome running and a modified audio kext on a hackintosh that finally leads to sound distortion?

I just wanted to add that I experience this problem on my hackintosh with booth built in AND external soundcard (Creative Tactic 3D Alpha) on OS X 10.9.

Problem solved: I was able to boot using the unibeast drive. I deleted the Extras Folder and installed the minimum DSDT-free installation with GraphicsEnabler=NO using multibeast. Everything is running again and it seems like 10.8.3 makes no trouble at all.

Thank you for your reply ... I did choose "dsdt-free" not the easybeast option. Do you have any idea what to try to get my system working again without a complete reinstall?
