Its quite normal on hackintoshes for the TR card to need one or more reboots to function properly. The PCI section of sys report is usually defined in the SSDT for thunderbolt, but its optional. As you say it is working, which is the important thing.
Hi @Edhawk
Been a full day.....apologies for the late reply
First thing to say is it appears to be all working now - both cards. I did try only one in at a time in each x1 slot as they are the only free slots on my machine.
I had tried to map all ports before unsuccessfully....as I had been...
so if I understand correctly there is port sharing going on?
what about the first point you mentioned re "built in" in the ssdt? should that be altered?
yes - only one is connected to the case ports via the rear 19 pin connector. the second card should show 10 (5 usb 2 and 5 usb3) nothing connected to rear connector. the first should show 7 usb3 and 7 usb 2 by my reckoning
Hi @Edhawk
Thank you for your post...I recall you mentioning previously that pci cards didn't require mapping? I did try mapping every port = both cards and internal but disabling them made no difference to the current result. re the api path - I'll post the IOreg as I'm not great at reading...
still struggling with this issue....Its possible that 1x slots are not providing enough power/bandwidth...I have usb3 available on just 3 ports on each card. tried excluding the ssdt above - made no difference...

Hi
I tested all my ram in memtest yesterday. (DDR3 1600 corsair vengeance LP C9) It passed - running just one stick today and after a few hours I have a kernal panic "possible memory corruption" I'm retesting that stick again as I write. I think it unlikely it will show errors so I'm wondering...
Hi
Im having repeated filesystems KP. I don't believe Im having trouble with these drives and Ive tried three separate ssd systems drives, clean install etc. first aid passes the drive. The fault must be elsewhere...the most recent is apfs enclosed.....any suggestions on where to look to...
Hi Anyone experienced this panic with Thunderbolt external NVME enclosures? I'm Running Open Core with the NVMexpressDXE driver in Big Sur 11.6.5.
I have a OWC 4M2 Thunderbolt drive bay with a single Sabrent 2tb drive installed. This was fine in 11.2.3. All other Tb devices are happy. IF I...
