I have a Z580 i5-3210M I have been running ML on for some time but the update to MAV has got gone so good. I was looking into starting fresh with a SSD and a clean USB with the latest Clover and 10.9.X but was hoping someone in the forum has some suggestions before I try this again.

I too have a Z580 and suggest that you follow the same i7 CPU and same graphics configuration. What works for me may not work for you. I would suggest that you repair permissions after each major change in system files, ie Kext files.

Update.. I did a new, clean install using the latest info provided and the kext provided now my system is halting durring the boot after the "ApplePCPICPU: Processor ID=3"
This is a new error.
Any ideas?

It is great to see that we have progress on the driver/KEXT front.
I have had some weird things happening;
(1) Repeated kernel crashs on booting that often go away after I reboot into windows 7.
