Unfortunately all is correct for me. Was working well up until I simultaneously updated to 12.6 and updated past OC 0.8.1. I’ll see if a different SMBIOS works, or rolling back OC a bit.
I notice I'm getting the same issue in Final Cut also. Anyone else having hardware accelerated h.264 encoding issues with 5700xt or other GPU and OS 12.6 + latest OC? Maybe it's a kext issue?
Hi all,
Anyone update to the latest OC 0.8.5 on this MOBO yet? Since I went from 0.8.1 to 0.8.3 and the latest 12.6 OS my WIFI issues have returned (network slows down/hangs and need to reboot or turn WIFI off and on), my USB 2.0 ports/hub are laggy, and I’m getting corrupted/glitchy video...
Hey all,
Since MOnterey 12.3.1 and >=OC 0.7.9 im getting these kernel panics and spontaneous reboots. Seems to be related to the ethernet/wifi/bt.
Here's the report. I'm stumped - I've the got the EFI configured "stock" with HACKINDROM.
panic(cpu 12 caller 0xffffff80051044f0): __memcpy_chk...
I think that may be happening to me also. Mine seems to lose sample rate and then disconnect completely - No relays clicking away. But when it comes back, the relays click in. Sometimes it just doesn’t come back and I need to reboot.
So, I'm using Monterey 12.3.1 with OC 0.8.0 and a Universal Audio Apollo x8 with driver V10 and latest firmware. I'm using the flashed onboard Thunderbolt also.
Since this combination of updates happened, my Apollo gets random disconnects, garbled audio during what looks like coreaudio...
Yes. I’ve had that exact issue come and go with different versions of Monterey and Opencore. Running a 5700xt.
Everything for me was running really smoothly on 12.2.1 and OC 0.7.8 and this issue was finally gone for me. After updating to 12.3.1 from 12.2.1 the issue is back for me, and I’ve...
More updates. Mind boggling stuff. After a week of things working perfectly, this wifi/bt combo card has gone back to the wifi connection just hanging after being booted for a while, and now the bt is randomly disconnecting. Still works in bios/boot at least! Haha.
Just when I think progress...
Updates.
So I’ve been in a situation recently where a wired connection just isn’t possible at all. So, I’ve been forced to mess around to make this MQUPIN Fenvi T919 wifi/bt card work. Getting any other cards seems to be impossible in Canada right now.
In addition to plugging in the BT header...
It does work when plugged into the F_USB, but not in BIOS or during boot.
I’m trying to plug it into a PCIe USB 2.0 card to the internal USB type A port it has. When I do that, Bluetooth works in BIOS / at boot, but fails to be enabled when I get to the desktop after booting.
It seems I need...
Looks like if I want handoff/airdrop/continuity etc. to work, I'd need plug the BT on the card to an internal USB anyway.
Is this correct?
I can't seem to find out why the BT won't work in BIOS when it's plugged into the F_USB header. Should it work? I'm using the FENVI card, but the MQUPIN...
OK, been messing around with this WIFI/BT card when I have spare time.
Weird thing is that I managed to get better Airdrop results, but I'm not sure it was because of the broadcofixup kext that I tried. My slow wifi speeds creeped back after a while, so maybe it's just random. At boot the WiFi...
CSM on/off didn't change anything for me unfortunately. I also tried Platform Power Management in BIOS enabled/disabled, which also doesn't see to affect anything.
I realize that this card should work natively, but I decided to add this kext -...
