The problem with rx480 is that it needs a "helper gpu" That's ok if you have an IGPU, but apps like Final Cut X will crash, beacause it isn't optimized for multi GPU. I'm with the same problem, i have a 1070, and i'm looking for an AMD card for open cl purpuses.

Someone knows if the hdmi 2.0 of the rx 480 works in sierra? i need to achieve 4k at 60hz, but my 4k tv doesn't have a displayport.
