I modified the kexts in the Installer partititon based on the XMove blog post and it seems to have worked. let's see what happens after the install.

Thanks for this man but I'm still a bit confused. How do you manage to install Lion in the first place in order to modify the kexts? I still have the issue that my ACD connected to the MDP on my 5770 goes black after booting. What would be the steps to be able to change the kexts if you don't...

That is good to hear that the adapter works. I will be trying it with a ACD 27" soon as my U2711 is now dying. Terrible QC at Dell I'm sure. Will post back to see what happens.

ok, well that is disappointing! I just got a Vertex 2 in the last few days. How can I check if it has 34nm NAND or 25nm NAND? Also what is a good app to benchmark this thing in OS X? I'm pissed that I may have been swindled here!

total fail on my x58a-ud3r FB. update and then got kernel panic and now it won't boot at all in any of safe mode or normal mode. gives me an excuse to reinstall
