I tried to make a usb with clover and when I booted to it, it saw my windows drive but not my OS X drive and its backup. I was hoping to keep using chimera for El Capitan.

what is it doing in that 5 minutes? mine goes to a black screen with the spinning wheel. i've never waited 5 minutes to see if it would do anything. i always assume it's stuck and i just manually turn it off.
i've never updated my bios. been afraid to do it. does that mean i'm f10? i really don't know....

i use a dsdt. i tried that patch and no change. still won't restart. also, when i power it off like that, when it comes back up i get the "you shut down your computer because of a problem" pop-up.
it shuts down then, but i think things you install or change that require restarts need the computer to restart on its own in order to do it. like trim enabler. it says it needs to restart then it hangs on the black screen with the wheel. i force it to shut down and i turn it back off and trim...
