Yes, this is on a M1 Pro MacBook Pro 16".
980 Pro in an Orico enclosure is on Thunderbolt and reports as a NVMExpress device.

It's not only with hackintosh. The 980 Pro as an external drive in a TB3 enclosure also has this problem. Once your drive reaches a certain level of space that needs to be trimmed the drive can take over 5 minutes to mount.

Same here - had it since I built my Hack.
I'm playing video from a NetStream and thought it was network related, but have concluded it's something weird just with this app as all other video and audio play fine.

Have you tried removing all your add ons and the graphics card and try to boot using the built in graphics?
That seems to be a stable config to test first.
My Macs on Airport Extreme can connect at 450 mbps. I can only get the TP-Link WDN-4800 to connect at 300 - is this the fastest this hardware can connect with the AEBS?
It took me 3 goes to find a CF card reader that works with my Hack.
Stay clear of:

Despite it saying it's a Superspeed USB3 device the card slots are USB2 and the only thing that's USB3 are the 2 USB3...
I've identified the culprit:
- Disable CPU Overvoltage in the Advanced settings fixed the sleep and wake issues
- IOGear BT4.0 now works fine
- I didn't need to disable xHCI, in fact I need USB3 so disabling that was not an option, that's set toe ENABLED in Bios
