I have a (almost) fully functional system using the following configuration:
- Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H (note the Z77 and D3H, no X, M or DS3H)
- i5 3570k (this will also work with the 3770k or any other IB chip with the HD4000)
- using HD4000 graphics but DSDT has been modified to also work...
I messed up the display resolution for one of my displays.
I read that I need to delete the com.apple.windowserver.XXXXX.plist” in Library/Preferences/ByHost
The problem is that I can't find the ByHost folder in ML... Any ideas?

I have managed to get 10.8 running fine on the following set-up, except the sound:
GA-Z77-D3H
i5 3570K
HD4000
I have tried all of the following, none of which worked:
- deleted applehda.kext, fixed permissions and installed voodoohda 2.7.3
- did the same for 2.7.4
- I have have...
I managed to get 10.7.4 booting using the unibeast+multibeast method on the following set-up:
- i5 3570k
- GA-Z77-D3H
- 2x4Gb DDR3 1600 RAM
- HD4000
The system boots fine by itself. The only two issues I still have is the audio and the graphics. everything seems to display fine but I am unable...
I finally managed to install 10.7.4 using the Unibeast method. The install went smoothly but I am not able to boot into the system.
Weird thing is that I managed to get in once fresh after the install. I then wanted to install drivers using multibeast but the system did not pick up my ethernet...
