Use any case you want, just make sure both the motherboard and the case are for example ATX.
If you´re on a budget go with the GA-Z77-DS3H or if you have more money to spend then go with the GA-Z77X-UD5H.
The Z77 boards are Ivy Bridge(3rd gen. Intel Core cpus) and Z68 is Sandy Bridge(2nd gen. Intel Core cpus) and the 3770k aswell as the 3570k are Ivy Bridge, but they will work just as well on Sandy Bridge boards.
The reason that they´re not in the guide is because is for the Ivy Bridge...

After the install you still need to run multibeast, select userDSDTfree installation and then pick your drivers, pick the sound drivers within "without DSDT".
Try putting the mb on the mb box and only using the core components(Mb, CPU, cooler, ram, 8 pin+24 pin cables).
Is the cpu cooler fan spinning? Can you see the POST screen?
Sounds like the motherboard failed, have you tried using just one stick if ram? Try all 4(?) slots.
That happened to be before, but it looped, just send it back if you have tried everything else.

1. Unplug all cables from the PSU.
2. Grab the 24-pin connector and a paperclip.
3. Find the pins to which the green cable and one(doesn´t matter which one you pick) black cable are corresponding to and put each end of the paperclip into...
