Combed and searched but couldn't find if the eSata was type 3, ended up ordering 2.5in sata 250Gb. Decided the extra speed is worth it, I can just use the old 750gb sata as an external drive anyway.

Debating whether to go with mSATA 256GB SSD for boot drive and keep the 750GB mechanical. Just curious whether you know if the mSATA is type 2 or 3?
