Hey all, Ok so this does not seem to be working... is there a PCI NIC that will work out of the box? I can install it in the PCIe slot and got from there... Bummer part is, this is all just to get to a working install of Yosemite.. so I just need a temporary "fix". Thanks!

I re-enabled the network interface and tried booting with the two flags and same error. If I disable the interface, the system will boot and I can run the OS fine... So plot thickens... :) Any ideas... Thanks again! Brian

Ok so prior to reading this I disabled the network interface, and now Im getting an install. So it was/is the networking interface for sure. Now of course I wont have any network as I disabled it. That said I DID purchase Yosemite, but I will need, of course, the App Store to download it...

Yep did that, but it goes back to the grey apple screen so I dont see the line, its too fast! Is there a way to get it to stop and not go into the apple screen, i.e. text only? Thanks!
