Hi there, so for awhile i was using a Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 with the 889 drivers and i had perfect audio, however it disappeared and no longer works. So i returned the motherboard and received a new one, however the audio seems to not work on this one as well. Is there something i'm doing...

Keep getting kernel panics when attempting to install the audio kexts. gigabyte ga-z68ma-d2h-b3 core i5 2500k cosair 8gb ram Gigabyte 6850 1gb video card. is there anyone else who's had an issue with getting audio working on this setup?

i'm kinda confused by this. I'm planning on using the machine for Illustrator/inDesign as well as Ableton. I'm not that big of a gamer, but i do play games on ocassion, mostly just minecraft.
