    144hz confirmed working on my LG 27GL83A-B (1440p, not 4K) over DP with a 6800 XT. The monitor also claims adaptive sync is active but I'm not so sure about that actually being true.

    I managed to get native speedstep working using MBP 6,2 and removing DropSSDT=yes and ssdt.aml, but I am unsure if turbo is working. As far as I can see, I'm getting 7 pstates x7 - x14.     That is a very good point. So, have you ever heard of someone with a gen 1 i series cpu getting speedstep working? I have a C2D machine working natively but of course, there are actual C2D Mac machines so that doesn't mean much.
