I am sure that sleep is not working, right ? I had this mobo and you do need Nullpower kext to be able to boot or otherwise use speedstepper (which is way better as it power managment)

luthepa1 Method works fine with Apple MB110 Wired Keyboard on Z68xp-UD3P. I had huge problems with keyboard not being initialized after waking up from the sleep. Thanks man! :thumbup:

Actually I use straight DP port, without any converters. No luck for me so far :(

So you in the same boat as I was, just do what I did, modify Hoolock FB with stuff from Vervet for DP and VGA and edit string in Hoolock with HDMI properties. You can use my ATI5000Controller.kext if you want to, but its not gonna work. You should make your own, based on radeon_bios_decode...

Updating USB 3.0 Kext helped to resolve the sleep issue! Great! :headbang:

You should definitely find FB who wakes the display from sleep. Find one. Try Hoolock, Vervet,Langur,Eulemur and report. VGA on 5770 ??

Hi guys! I have been reading various topics and forums and still can't make the DP port on Sapphire 5770 to work on 10.7.2. I use Hoolock FB, and did try Langur and all others and monitor (HP ZR24W) is detected properly, but screen stays black no matter what. I guess, that Apple just blocked...

You can read my posts about this issue and how to fix it by modifying framebuffer. You can also try to boot AtiConfig=Hoolock or Langur and see if it works for you.

I finally did it :) Toleda, changing the order of 3rd and 4th string and booting with AtiPorts=3 gave me black screen on boot. So, somehow changing the order of the strings makes difference. After all my edits and close inspection of IOReg output I saw that Vervet FB pins my LCD to 02 00 00 14...

OK, here is complete report: I run P55 with i5 750 and Sapphire 5770 512MB with 3 ports (DP,DVI,HDMI) on Lion 10.7.1 ( tried the 10.7.2 kexts to). Display HP ZR24 connected to DVI, DP never worked for me with any combinations and Panasonic TV is connected to HDMI. I made all the needed edits in...
