Wondering if anyone else is having the problem I have. Running el Capitan with a gtx970 and just got the active club 3d adapter. Switchresx 4.6 shows 3840x2160 @ 60hz without having to set a custom display size and it works fine BUT it looks "grainy" for lack of a better word and the text and...
USB 2 in El Capitan 10.11
I had some issues getting booted after install but i finally got it. Now just trying to find my way around clover and get everything setup right. Ive used multibeast for the past 5 years or so. Like i said if you have any advice how to get it configured properly let me...
USB 2 in El Capitan 10.11
thanks! I used maciasl to create an SSDT with only your code in it and placed it in the location you mentioned. Set the os as 10.11, system def as MacPro3,1 and boot flag of npci=0x2000 and was finally able to boot the unibeast usb installer. I've been fighting with it...
I have two disks for my windows raid 0 on and Intel raid array that I think are causing this prompt on every reboot. Did anyone find a way to just ignore it?
Thanks
Sweet I got it! I think maybe I needed to have npci=0x2000 first and it was complicated by that entry mysteriously being removed presumably after switching the nvidia driver from osx to web. I added it back and did a repair permissions on the drive.
Thanks for your help
That's what I thought and why the mention of using a comma confused me. I've already tried the way you state with no luck. It just sits there at the progress bar or if I use -v after something about USB voltages (I think) yet if I type all that in manually during start up or if I only use...
I don't see a comma. I'm having the same type of issue. I can boot if I manually enter boot flags but not if I add more than one to the kernel flags section. My new build requires three npci=0x2000 kext-dev-mode=1 and nvda_dvr=1 I've been struggling with it for weeks and have reinstalled...
I didn't want to start a new post since I'm asking the exact same question. I don't game but I use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop etc... CC 2014 and am looking for a card for my new hackintosh build. Based on the latest hardware list...
I have the regular P6T and find after some updates I have to reinstall the audio files with Kext drop so I keep them handy. I think this started with mountain lion or Mavericks. I never used sleep or hibernation. I've had relatively little problems with hackintosh since I started with snow...
it doesn't matter I did it before and after then just switched to an ssd drive. I spent the weekend trying to get this working using different boot option, 4 different graphics cards including the one from my working hackintosh, an ssd hard drive (with your suggested trim option) and various...
No luck. Tried 3 different graphics card and took out all the ram except the first dimm it just instantly restarts after the boot loader. I can't even get in now if I use the -x -v switches.
I'm reinstalling Yosemite from scratch using the graphics card from my working hackintosh since I know...
I was thinking of trying to pull the card from my working hackintosh this weekend since I know exactly how to configure that. Nothing else is plugged in I purposely left the extra hard drives unplugged until I got it all setup. Ill let you know.
Thanks
Updated my profile
Awesome!!! that fixed the boot 0 errors but now I'm stuck in a boot loop. I had to boot with -v -x to boot into safemode. My first thought is perhaps I need to configure the graphics card and thats what's causing it. it thinks it's a generic graphics card with 3MB of memory...
Ok I'll make sure to update it tomorrow. No luck. I used only the options you listed and when I rebooted I got:
boot0: gpt
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: gpt
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: error
If I boot using unibeast it just reboots
