Possible?? : Ignore Radeon 7950 card and use HD3000 : Lion

The HD3000 is recognized and works properly at the correct resolution no problem when I have no other card present, but that was with GraphicsEnabler=yes. So are you saying that with ge=No and Profile set to MacMini, in order to get the HD3000 working properly, I need to do a DSDT edit?

Possible?? : Ignore Radeon 7950 card and use HD3000 : Lion

From your post, why would you set EthernetBuiltIn to no? I set my boot.plist to GraphicEnabler No and profile to Mac Mini. I can now boot to OSX with the 7950 installed, but I'm stuck at 1024x768 resolution. That is not going to cut it.

Any other thoughts or ideas? Maybe I can offer Toleda something to come into this thread :) His troubleshooting for the HD4000 for Cinner has been stellar.

Possible?? : Ignore Radeon 7950 card and use HD3000 : Lion

Right, I'm aware the 7950 is not supported. I'm trying to figure out a way to tell OSX to ignore whatever is in PCIe and use the integrated HD3000. I've tried that setting my UEFI listed as boot first to IGFX. I can set it to that and I'll get to the bootloader no problem, just OSX never...

MY Hardware : GA-Z77X-UD3H i5-2500k Radeon 7950 I tried to get Lion installed and use the HD3000 as the graphics module. I couldn't get Unibeast to install unless I pulled out the Radeon 7950. I was able to use the HD3000 no problem in Lion. I dual-boot my machine between Windows 7 and...

    Build - P8P67 Pro - Core i5-2500k - 8GB - Dual GTX560TI 1GB

I have a similar build and have been having a heck of a time trying to figure out what would be the best System Definition for this. About the only difference is that I have an ATI Radeon 5850. Do you have MacPro 4,1 selected as your system definition and why?

[Success] General tweaking guide for Asus P8P67 Pro Rev3.0

Okay, I've made my custom BIOS. I'm about to flash my motherboard, but I have a few questions before I move forward. I have Lion working with nullCPU kext. I've read that I will need to remove this to get Speedstep working properly. Do I just delete the .kext file? Do I do this before I shut...

Does anyone know if performing this BIOS mod will mess with or prevent a Windows boot from working? I'm dual booting between Win 7 and Lion.
