Error installing High Sierra on Fusion Drive

Ok, now I get the idea with the creation of the recovery partion before creating the fusion drive. Many thanks for your explanation! I haven't used CCC before, but it seems to do the trick with getting the Recovery partition into the right place.

Error installing High Sierra on Fusion Drive

Shouldn't it read disk0s2 disk1 then? (disk0s1 would be the EFI partition of your ssd, right?)

Error installing High Sierra on Fusion Drive

This seems to be a promising approach! Indeed, I have my recovery portion on the 2nd (i.e. the HDD) drive and not the SSD. I would have to double check with another rig I had setup up freshly just last weekend with high sierra and look how the installation has set up the partitions. I simply...

Error installing High Sierra on Fusion Drive

Could you possibly share your fusion drive and clover settings? I need to dig deeper into this, as I still cannot update like that. Thanks!

Error installing High Sierra on Fusion Drive

I tried to install the latest combo update also with r6369, but for some unknown reason, I was not able to install it straight away. My guess is that maybe my fusion setup or clover config is not correct, as I couldn't see the install boot option as it was shown when only using one HDD setup...

    iMessage "call costumer support" fix

Actually, it seems like indeed apple 2nd level support needs to solve this issue. There is some kind of internal "anti spam" detection system, which decides when an apple id needs additional authorization or not. It also seems to be done on a "per machine" and "per user account" mechanism...

    iMessage "call costumer support" fix

Can anyone try to help on this, please? I am having the same issue. I created a new apple id via App Store, in order to prevent from entering a credit card no. (for my boys!) Works fine on their ipad, with App Store, iCloud, etc. on the hackintosh, but simply not for iMessage. However...

Maverick installs and runs well, then I install Multibeast and I get a kernel crash

Erik, I have the Z 68 Ap3 D3 and also ran into problems at first. After some modifications with the BIOS settings it worked. First of all, I use the Ua5 Bios and no DSDT! Broken sounds is normal after the update, you just need to install the kext with Multibeast. Not sure for the USB3...

iMessage - Setting Status to 'Available'

No - Me not either. Even the task bar icon is greyed out and changing my status will not take effect. I also noticed that sometimes - although sending messages works fine - replies will only be displayed on the IOS device(s), but not on the OSX machine. Only after some time, those messages will...
