I have this same system, mine is the newer model, but has the same hardware specs. And my system gets hung up at the boot logo also. Any solutions? also do you using onboard graphics or are you using a PCIe?

After the update and multibeast I can't even boot using iBoot, but if I just dont install thr update and multibeast I can continue to boot into snow leopard 10.6.3 using iBoot with no problem. I am starting to Think it's Becuase I am trying to use my On board graphics, but I am not sure.
