So I plugged in a USB cable and my Lion build crashed and now when I boot, it boots to a Kernal Panic on my main drive and also my clone boot drive.
Here's a photo of what comes up. Any ideas what's wrong? Am I screwed? I've got a deadline soon and need to sort this out fast or buy a Mac Mini...
I often clone my boot drive and want to check it's working 100%.
Is there a way to have a nice screen to select between drives instead of going into the BIOS and changing the drive boot order?
Looking to get some advice for building a DAW to house two HDX cards. Possibly a few monitor outputs as well.
Need space for 5 drives, as much ram as possible and a graphics card that will cause no issues at all.
Tempted by a rack mounted case as well.
I've seen a few similar builds...
With the new Logic X out, I want to update.
I didn't do my current build, I bought it from a seller who builds them and he used the Tonymac install. However, I have done a Snow Leopard build/installation in the past.
I'd imagine all the bios settings are okay right?
But what do I need...
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
INTEL Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz S775
XFX GeForce 8400GS 256Mb
Have an old install but would like to get a new HDD and try iBoot.
Will it work?
