If you want to go down the Lion route you'll need to specify arch=i386 for the installer and then install a 32-bit boot plist with MultiBeast as it doesn't ship with a 64-bit X3100 driver.
You might want to try updating your version of Chimaera using MultiBeast, IIRC the newer versions will inject a valid serial number to allow you to use the App Store & iCloud.

I can confirm that you can't do a clean install of 10.7.3 (at least on an Asus P8Z68-V LX) using Unibeast as you get a USB-related KP. I would imagine this is the "USB Fix" referenced in the rBoot release notes so it should be heading to Unibeast soon.
EDIT: Unibeast 1.0.1 solves this issue
