it would probably be easyer to use software yet i can find any for my card, do you have any suggestions?

I may be about to make myself sound like a idiot but when my CPU is locked so i don't need to OC it what real performance boost will i gain from a better Motherboard ? i mean its got everything i need and low power usage.
- Will my Hard ware be compatible
- if something goes wrong is it easy to go back to Windows

I had UN-ticked both [Enable Graphics OverDrice] and [Enable manual fan control] before testing the temperature (thanks for staying and helping BTW ! )
I succesfully backed up and flashed my VBIOS but for some reason the fan speed is still staying the same ( it starts increasing slowly at like 60C ) i checked the fan speed had changed in RBE and it did save my changes but the seemed to have no effect, i think maybe Catalyst control center is...
My 6870 sometimes exceeds 105°C unless i have manual fan control on through AMD Catalyst control center and leave it at 80%. When i leave the fan to auto adjust and play battle field 3 the GPU temp goes through the roof.
I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the fan speed due to the GPU...

Tomorrow all i need to do is:
- mount the PSU
- align the Motherboard and make a custom I/O
- place all fans in
- connect all the wires
- fix the problems...
- clean it up
- Then level up on BF3!
